With the recent controversy surrounding David Gill's appointment as British vice-President of FIFA, there is a lot of ill-feeling between the FA and the other home nation FAs. It's hardly surprising that within a few days of that vote, the FA-led plans of sending a combined Team GB to the 2016 Olympics in Rio were blocked by the Welsh, Scottish and Northern Irish FAs.
