In Germany, the Bundesliga has seen clubs start training again in anticipation of an easing of lockdown rules and the hope of starting to play games behind closed doors in May. In Scotland meanwhile, a decision to cancel the remainder of the season and hand out prize money, promotions and relegations based on points per game has caused outcry and has driven deep divisions between clubs and the football authorities.
