Speculate to accumulate: Bundesliga Week 16

It’s time for another quick run through the upcoming Bundesliga fixtures with my selections at the bottom.

Hannover v Stuttgart
Home - Tempted to go for an away win given what's at stake for Stuttgart but Jens Keller's team are poor on the road

Bayern München v St. Pauli
Home - Pauli to reap a terrible Bayern whirlwind after the Champion's horror show in Gelesenkirchen last week.

Hamburger SV v Bayer Leverkusen
Away - Five wins away from the Bayarena. HSV have good players but lack consistency.

Hoffenheim v Nürnberg
Home – It is not looking good for Nurnberg despite an encouraging start to the season. Hoff are not a good football teams but tough little bees, to boot..

Köln v Eintracht Frankfurt
Home - Bit of a punt this one. Koln are improving but need to catch Frankfurt on a bad day.

Kaiserslautern v Wolfsburg
Home - Pure guesswork. Who knows what’s going to happen here.

Borussia Dortmund v Werder Bremen
Home - Game of the weekend in my book. Bremen are on the way back but will not get past the centre half pairing of Hummels and Subotic.

Freiburg v Borussia M'gladbach
Home - Freiburg do lose at home but it's hard to see 'Gladbach holding Cisse back for 90 odd minutes.

Mainz 05 v Schalke 04
Away – Six weeks ago this would have been a nailed on homer, However, Mainz are on a downer whereas Schalke are on the up and up. This is a genuinely intriguing fixture that the Konigsblauen can definitely win.

Selections: HSV v Lev - Away; FCB v St.P - Home; BVB v BRE - Home; Hoff v FCN - Home; FSV v S04 - Away
